Oven not heating evenly or at all – Nashville repair experiences?
My oven has been giving me trouble lately – it takes forever to preheat, or sometimes doesn't heat up properly at all, especially the bottom element. Food comes out unevenly cooked. It's a standard electric range, about 8 years old. I'm in Nashville and would rather repair it than buy a new one right away if it's something like faulty igniters, a bad bake element, or thermostat. Has anyone called a local appliance repair service for oven issues recently? Who was dependable, what did the repair typically cost, and did it fix the problem for good?

I dealt with a similar no-heat/uneven heating problem a few months ago – my bottom element was dead, and the broiler wasn't much better. Got a couple estimates and ended up using NashFix. Tech came out promptly, tested the elements, replaced the bake one and checked the wiring/thermostat. Whole thing was fixed in one visit for around $280-320 including parts and labor – saved me from dropping $1k+ on a new range. Their oven repair page has some similar case examples if you want to take a look https://nashfix.us/oven-repair/ . No pushy sales tactics, just solid work. If your oven's acting up the same way, it might be worth a call. Hope you get it baking normally again soon!
